Frequently Asked Questions
Q. My door is up and when I push my wall button in the garage, the door will start to go down, then reverse and go back up.
A. When this happens it usually means the light censors, at the base of the tracks are out of alignment. Gently adjust lights so they point directly at each other.
Q. My transmitters from the cars are not working, but the wall button in the garage works
A. Quite often we find that the lock-out switch or button on the wall has been activated. Switch or push the button, then try transmitters again.
Q. My door will only raise a few inches, it seems to struggle going up.
A. This could be an indication that you may have a broken spring. The door is too heavy for the opener to lift it properly. In this case call Jenkins Door Sales.
